Penultimate Rehearsal on Nov. 27

November 26, 2011

Sunday, Nov. 27′s rehearsal will be full and busy. ALL CAST MEMBERS are called for NOON. We will be trying on costumes and setting sets and props and your contribution is needed. Please be at the Knights Hall at noon, ready to work. PLEASE BE ON TIME and READY to STAY for the FULL REHEARSAL.

We will run through the show two times tomorrow; first at 1pm and then at 3:30 pm. The rehearsal will include all set  changes and entries so  it will take a while to get it all established the first time. Hopefully we will iron out any glitches and then the second time will reinforce the information.

LINES  Anyone who is having difficulty with lines and/or cues will be given a time slot for next Saturday to secure their part.

COSTUMES: Please bring shoes or boots suitable for your character in a 1950′s style (no running shoes) Also if you have been asked to bring in a shirt or pants or suit, tomorrow is the time to do. All costumes will be left for prepping so please bring alternate clothing to wear home.

CHRISTMAS PARADE  There have been some questions about the date of the public performance being on Sunday, Dec. 11. Unfortunately, that is the same day as the local Santa Parade. It is almost impossible during December to find a day that doesn’t conflict with other events. That Sunday afternoon was chosen to give audience travelling out from St. John’s and for local people who are uncomfortable driving at night  an opportunity to see the show. We made everyone aware of the dates in September so that people had a chance, then, to decide which event they would commit to. With a 2pm show, the call will be for 12:30 so anyone hoping to do both is out of luck.

I have some posters that you can put up around school and shops. Please take a couple with you.

Congratulations people. We’re just about there!
